The 2026 RANC Annual Meeting is being held at the Trailborn Surf & Sound

The Trailborn Surf & Sound in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, is a newly reimagined coastal resort on a prime waterfront site with both ocean and sound views. It debuted in early 2025 after the extensive renovation and rebranding of the longtime Blockade Runner Beach Resort, blending modern design with Wrightsville Beach’s laid-back surf town character.

Associate Members: Sponsorship levels are required to attend. This event would not be possible without your participation and support and we look forward to visiting your booth! Two levels are available for you to choose from that have an array of conference benefits, including a vendor booth & registrations.
Optional Networking Activity Available to add on to registration:
*group activities on held on Wednesday, August 26 and start at 11AM. While these events do require a separate registration fee, they offer valuable opportunities for meaningful conversation, collaboration, and fun. Space may be limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early when registering!
Golf Outing: $150
- Group tee times starting at 11:30am. Includes cart + boxed lunch.

- Golfers to drive directly to the course (25 mins from hotel)
- Clubs are available for rent at course. You can call to preschedule or rent the day of event.
Nearshore Fishing Excursion: $145
- Nearshore fishing excursions chartered through Dead Tide Sport Fishing
- Excursions are 11AM - 3 PM and the boat will pick up across the street from hotel.
- Each boat will take groups of (4).
- Price does not include lunch
Meeting Registration Includes:
- Wednesday night networking reception; Thursday lunch + general session, Thursday reception, dinner + entertainment (Riverboat Cruise)

2026 Speaker Information
Jerry Andrews, II, VP Ferrous Operations, Omni
Jerry Andrews, II is Vice President of Ferrous Operations at OmniSource, where he is responsible for the performance, safety, and strategic direction of operations across more than 70 yards and 13 shredding facilities nationwide. His role spans everything from material quality and mill alignment to transportation, environmental and DOT compliance, facility security, and overall production performance, ensuring operations run efficiently, safely, and at the highest standards across the board.
A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Jerry brings over 30 years of experience in the metals recycling industry. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles across transportation, operations, and division management, working closely with mills and foundries to strengthen inspection processes and adapt to evolving material expectations.
In addition to his role at Omni, Jerry is actively involved with the Recycled Materials Association, where he serves as Shredder Committee Co-Chair and 1st Vice Chair of the Ferrous Division and represents Indiana in key legislative and leadership roles, helping shape the future of the industry.
